Up close and personal with Goldie

I'm sitting here with Golden Hawk, who we all know from "Another Reality Show". As we have all heard, Goldie's show looks at life from a different perspective, she is looking at the world as a reflection of ourselves. Today we are going to get Goldie's personal perspective to find out more about her life and her experiences. So let's get started.

Alana: Throughout your life and looking back on when you were younger, did you typically follow along with trends with others, or stand out on your own?

Goldie: No, I did not follow trends when I was younger. I have always walked the beat of a different drummer. But that's not to say that my desire wasn't to fit in with my friends and my peers, it's just that it never felt right for me to be like everyone else.

Alana:
How do you cope with others around you that think you are "crazy" and do not understand where you are coming from?

Goldie: I thrive on it. As I become more grounded in my beliefs and have personal experiences that confirm my beliefs, I am able to not take it personally when people refer to me as crazy, and actually invite them to potentially experience their own awakenings within their own inner world.

Alana: I understand you worked in the corporate world in a bank for some time, what was that like for you?

Goldie: Wow your going way back. I did work at a bank, it was my first job out of high school. I remember feeling prestigious because the bank that I worked at was located less than a mile from where I lived. Because of the location, many of the customers at the bank were people that lived in my neighborhood and so I was privy to personal information about them. For example, I knew how much my good friend's father made in a week, I knew how much their mortgage was, and it was a wonderful experience for me to learn to apply confidentiality.

Alana: What do you find to be the most rewarding thing about broadcasting your radio show?

Goldie: The most rewarding aspect of broadcasting for me is the ability to share my perspective with a larger listening audience then I have been accustomed to. I have always enjoyed speaking to small groups of friends and people from my church about my experiences, and to potentially help humanity on a larger scale, is truly rewarding.

Alana: What did you think your life would be like when you were younger?  Did you have a dream job or life?

Goldie: When I was younger it was always my dream to be a veterinarian, to help heal sick animals. I have always had an innate ability to communicate with animals, and I have always felt a sense of safety within the animal kingdom that I did not feel within the human community. I also thought when I was younger that I would be married with children and living in a house with a white picket fence by now, not that that's not part of my dream still to this day, I just thought it was going to happen when I was younger.

Alana: Do you have children now?

Goldie: I do not have any children of my own, but I have been a nanny for over 17 years and have been blessed to have influenced the lives of many children in that time. It is my desire to have my own children in this lifetime though.

Alana: Are you religious at all?

Goldie: No. I was raised Jewish and never found a resonance within that structure. It was not until my awakening at 30 that I shifted and started to once again believe in God. My belief in God now is that the God energy is within me, and I am discovering as I release the fear and the guilt, it is natural for me to become the Creator I am.

Alana: How has your energy work helped you throughout your life?

Goldie: Energy work helped me to experience life beyond the 5 senses. It's the doorway for me to understand how upside down my beliefs were growing up as a kid. From the moment I had my first Reiki attunement, there was an awakening within me that has lead me on the journey within of the many realities, and these realities are beyond my wildest dreams.

Alana: Is there something you've always wanted to do, but never got the chance?

Goldie: The first thing that came to mind is that I've always wanted to skydive and I've not done this as of yet. But that's only one thing on a list that goes on and on...I want to travel to Africa, Egypt, and Australia. I want to become a parent, and I would Love to see my picture on a billboard!

Alana: What do you like to do in your time, that makes you truly happy?

Goldie: I love spending time in the woods. Being in mother nature has been the most profound healing experience for me. After my mother died, I found it so interesting that I found safety in the woods with all the unknown things in the woods, and yet was petrified of having to go to work or go shopping and be around people. There it is again, where most people are afraid of snakes and bugs and get along wonderfully at a party, I found myself to be just the opposite.

Alana: What is one thing that you cannot go a day without?

Goldie: Holo-syncing which is my form of meditation.

Alana: What types of movies interest you the most and why?

Goldie: I love fictional movies and what I love about them, is that they convey messages of what we consider to be non truths, when in reality, I see them as expanded truths. I'm a firm believer that today's science fiction, is tomorrow science fact.

Alana: What is one goal that you have set for yourself now that you want to achieve?

Goldie: I have set the goal for myself to become the Howard Stern of spiritual talk radio. This goal for me derives it's meaning because if I had as many listeners as Howard Stern listening to my show that would clearly indicate to me that the awakening had clearly taken place on the planet.
